Con gran éxito concluyó el Campeonato Panamericano de Triatlón y Paratriatlón en Calima, Colombia, evento que reunió a destacados atletas de toda la región en las categorías Elite, Sub-23, Junior y Paratriatlón.
En la división Elite masculina, el chileno Diego Moya se consagró campeón tras cruzar la meta con un tiempo de 1:53:12. El podio lo completaron Sullivan Middaugh (EE. UU.), segundo, y Osvaldo Zuñiga (México), tercero.
Entre las mujeres, la brasileña Djenyfer Arnold se llevó el oro con una marca de 2:07:07. La plata fue para María López (México) y el bronce quedó en manos de Emy Legault (Canadá).
En la categoría Sub-23, los títulos fueron para Sullivan Middaugh y María López, mientras que en la división Junior se impusieron Daniel Ubilla (Chile) y Jimena De La Peña, quien representa actualmente a Estados Unidos.

2025 Americas Triathlon & Para Triathlon Championships Calima
The 2025 Americas Triathlon and Para Triathlon Championships concluded successfully in Calima, Colombia, bringing together top athletes from across the region in the Elite, U23, Junior, and Para Triathlon categories.
In the Elite Men’s division, Chile’s Diego Moya claimed the title, crossing the finish line in 1:53:12. Sullivan Middaugh (USA) took second place, while Osvaldo Zuñiga (Mexico) completed the podium in third.
In the women’s race, Brazil’s Djenyfer Arnold secured the gold medal with a time of 2:07:07. María López (Mexico) finished second, followed by Emy Legault (Canada) in third place.
In the U23 category, the champions were Sullivan Middaugh (USA) and María López (Mexico). In the Junior races, Daniel Ubilla (Chile) and Jimena De La Peña, now representing the United States, earned the top spots.
