The 2026 World Triathlon Winter Championships in Padola delivered a memorable weekend of racing, with Age-Group athletes at the centre of the racing across both the Winter Duathlon and Winter Triathlon Championshops.
More than 240 Age-Group race starts showcased the strength and spirit of Winter Multisport, as athletes took on snow-covered trails, demanding climbs and fast alpine descents in the spectacular Dolomite setting.

Athletes travelled and represented in Padola from 20+ nations, highlighting the growing appeal of Winter Multisport. European participation was especially strong, led by Italy, Germany and Austria, with athletes also representing Great Britain, Poland, Estonia, Czechia, Switzerland, France, Belgium, Slovenia and Spain. Competitors from the United States and additional Northern and Eastern European nations further underscored the international spirit of the event. With clear opportunities to expand participation, National Federations are encouraged to support and promote this unique discipline as the global Winter Multisport community continues to grow in the years ahead.
From first time winter racers to seasoned category champions, the Age-Group field embodied the adventure, camaraderie and resilience that define this unique discipline.
In Padola, Winter Triathlon and Duathlon proved once again that racing on snow brings athletes together in a celebration of endurance, community and pure Multisport spirit.
