The Montreal leg of the 2025 World Triathlon Para Series saw stacked international fields and close racing across all 12 para categories, with athletes from around the world battling for podium spots in ideal conditions at Parc Jean-Drapeau.
In the PTWC men’s race, Louis Noel (FRA) took the win ahead of Joshua Landmann (GBR) and Howie Sanborn (USA). The women’s race was won by Lauren Parker (AUS), with Emelia Perry (USA) second and Kendall Gretsch (USA) third.
PTS2 Men saw Wim De Paepe (BEL) on top, followed by Mohamed Lahna (USA) and Mark Barr (USA). In PTS2 Women, Anu Francis (AUS) secured gold ahead of Allysa Seely (USA) and Asumi Yasuda (JPN).
Max Gelhaar (GER) claimed victory in PTS3 Men, with Cedric Denuziere (FRA) and Zachary Osborne (USA) joining him on the podium. PTS3 Women was led by Kenia Yesenia Villalobos Vargas (MEX), with Hannah Longmire (USA) second and Rachel Watts (USA) third.
Pierre-Antoine Baele (FRA) led a men’s PTS4 podium sweep with Antoîne Lamarche Poulain (FRA) and Gregoire Berthon (FRA). In PTS4 Women, Camille Seneclauze (FRA) took gold, with Ingrid De Oude (NED) silver and Sally Pilbeam (AUS) bronze.
In PTS5 Men, home favourite Stefan Daniel (CAN) delighted the Canadian crowd with victory, finishing ahead of Tom Williamson (IRL) and Chris Hammer (USA). PTS5 Women saw Grace Norman (USA) on the top step, joined by Erica Da Rosa Rodrigues (BRA) in second and Gwladys Lemoussu (FRA) in third.
The visually impaired PTVI Men’s race was won by Oscar Kelly (GBR), with Maxime Gayet (FRA) second and Donnacha McCarthy (IRL) third. In the women’s PTVI, Leticia Freitas (BRA) took gold ahead of Anja Renner (GER) and Chloe MacCombe (IRL).
