Lasse burst onto the World Triathlon stage in 2021 with a hard-earned first World Cup win in Karlovy Vary. A week later he went on to finish just off the podium at WTCS Hamburg - his first race at the top level - and was part of the gold-winning German Mixed Relay team the following day, crowning a breakthrough month for the athlete.
