How this ranking works

How points are earned

Athletes score points across a range of World Triathlon and Continental events. The winner of each event earns the event's headline points, and every place below is worth 7.5% less than the one above. An athlete's total is the sum of their best 6 results from the last 52 weeks at full value, plus their best 6 results from the prior 52 weeks at one third of their value.
