World Triathlon Winter Championships Padola, Italy (27 Feb - 1 Mar)
The 2026 season opened in spectacular style in Padola,, where Age-Group athletes took on the unique challenge of winter racing across snow covered terrain. Featuring Winter Duathlon Sprint and Winter Triathlon Standard formats, the event delivered an unforgettable start to the year, showcasing the versatility and resilience of the Worldt Triathlon community.

World Triathlon Powerman Long Distance Duathlon Championships Zofingen, Switzerland (6 September)
Widely regarded as the pinnacle of Long-Distance Duathlon, Zofingen is a true bucket list race. Known for its relentless climbs and historic prestige, this event challenges the world’s best Age-Group athletes over a demanding run-bike-run format. Racing here is not just about performance, it’s about earning your place in one of the sport’s most respected arenas.

World Triathlon Age-Group Championships Pontevedra, Spain (23 - 27 September)
The season’s flagship event sees Age-Group athletes from around the world converge on Pontevedra for a week of world championship racing. With Sprint, Standard, Mixed Relay Triathlon and Aquabike titles on the line, this is the ultimate celebration of World Triathlon, where national pride, personal bests and world titles all come together in an electric championship atmosphere.

World Triathlon Multisport Championships Abu Dhabi, UAE (13 - 22 November)
A true festival of endurance sport, the Multisport Championships in Abu Dhabi bring together a diverse range of disciplines including Aquathlon, Cross Triathlon, Cross Duathlon, Sprint and Standard Duathlon, Long Distance Triathlon and Aquabike.
