World Triathlon, the Local Organising Committee of the Liévin Triathlon Indoor Festival and the PTO regret to announce the postponement of the 2026 T1 Liévin World Triathlon Indoor Cup, which was scheduled to take place on 7 March 2026.

Despite conversations with all the local stakeholders and a thorough review of all possible solutions to continue with the original date, we have taken the difficult decision to postpone the event, as we would not have been able to deliver the experience to the high standards we’ve set previously in Liévin and which our athletes, partners and spectators expect. We also don¡t want to compromise the long‑term sustainability of the project.

The T1 Liévin World Cup was one of the successes of the 2025 season, offering athletes a unique and spectacular racing experience in an indoor arena and quickly becoming a favourite among fans. The energy in the venue and the strong television audiences underlined its popularity with spectators both onsite and watching around the world, confirming Liévin as a reference point for innovative triathlon events.

Not being able to welcome the triathlon community to Liévin in March is a very difficult decision for everyone involved in the event. The LOC, World Triathlon and the PTO would like to sincerely thank athletes, coaches, National Federations, partners, volunteers and fans for their understanding, loyalty and continued support.

All parties remain fully committed to indoor triathlon in Liévin and will work together to explore options to reschedule the event in the future, with the ambition of returning with an edition that lives up to the passion and commitment shown by the community.
