PTO announces partnership with Meta to get fans closer to the T100 Triathlon World Tour fans

The Professional Triathletes Organisation (PTO) today announced a new partnership with Meta to become the ‘Official AI Wearables Partner’ of the T100 Triathlon World Tour.

The innovative collaboration will see Oakley Meta Vanguard and HSTN Performance AI [Athletic Intelligence] glasses used on the T100 Triathlon World Tour to open up new storytelling possibilities for triathlon.

By using first-person video capture, fans will experience both professional and amateur racing from inside the action and see completely new perspectives that will bring audiences closer than ever to the demands and energy of the sport.

“We are very excited to be announcing this partnership,” said PTO Chief Commercial Officer Stuart Ramsey.  “Meta aligns perfectly with our desire to use innovation to transform the sport of triathlon and champion the journey of every triathlete. It represents an exciting step forward in how cutting edge technology can support endurance athletes while making triathlon more engaging and accessible for fans worldwide.”

“We already know that triathletes use wearable technology to help improve their performance and train smarter. But one of the biggest benefits of the Oakley Meta Vanguard glasses is the hands-free performance, which enables you to capture footage of your training and then racing. Beyond the athletes themselves wearing them, we’ll also be getting friends and family involved as well as race officials.”
