Oslo Coach Course

The Norwegian Triathlon Federation, with the support of ITU and ETU, recently organized a Level 1 Club Coaches Course in Oslo, Norway. The course was part of the long term development plan of the Norwegian Triathlon Federation. In autumn, a Level 2 Competitive Coaches Course will also be held in Oslo.

In total, 14 participants from Norway, Lithuania and Greece attended the course, which was facilitated by Milos Petlin (SLO) and Gerga Zore (SLO).

“It was my pleasure to have the ITU Level 1 Club Coaches Course in Oslo, Norway,” said Petelin. “The level of participants and exceptional conditions at the Olimpiatoppen Centre and Faculty of Sport were very high. I was pleased with the course’s effect on their coaches. The goal of the course was achieved, and hopefully they have learned something new about triathlon.”

The next ITU Development Project will be an ITU Technical Officials Level 1 Seminar in Subic Bay, Philippines on the 25th of April.
