The Professional Triathletes Organisation, in coordination with World Triathlon and the Saudi Triathlon Federation, have announced that the Saudi Arabia T100 and World Triathlon Cup in Jeddah will now take place on April 16–17, 2027, moving from the previously scheduled dates of November 27–28, 2026.
The decision follows a joint review of the organizational and technical requirements and preparations for the inaugural edition in the Kingdom.
Alongside the announcement, registration is now open for amateur races at www.t100triathlon.com/saudi-arabia/participate/, where participants can find details of the races and entry categories and begin planning their visit to Jeddah.
The event forms part of broader efforts to develop triathlon in Saudi Arabia, expand participation and create opportunities for Saudi athletes to compete and progress. It will also help local organizers build their experience and strengthen their involvement in delivering international sporting events.
The organizers thanked athletes and partners for their understanding, recognizing that the change will affect participants’ plans. Coordination with the relevant authorities will continue, with further event information shared through official channels. The organizers look forward to welcoming participants to Jeddah in April 2027 for an inaugural edition that establishes a foundation for the event’s continued growth in the Kingdom.
