The development of Youth and Junior sports is one of the Russian Triathlon Federation’s top priorities.
Strategic plans include opening new departments, developing scientific and methodological materials, attracting qualified specialists, and organizing children’s competitions at both Federal and Regional levels.

In 2022, the Federation launched the unique Kids’ Triathlon League project, which laid the foundation for future success and took Triathlon in Russia to a new level.
Throughout the year, seven stages of Regional and National Championships were held in the disciplines of Triathlon, Aquathlon, and Winter Duathlon. The geography of the events was impressive, covering Moscow, Yaroslavl, Kazan, Volgograd, and Almetyevsk.

This year, the Russian Triathlon Federation and Kids’ Triathlon League introduced a new symbol — the snow leopard. It represents all three disciplines that make up Triathlon: swimming, running, and cycling.
