Europe Triathlon has announced the launch of the Europe Triathlon Winter Aquathlon Tour, a new initiative designed to create more competition opportunities for Youth and Junior athletes during the winter months.
The inaugural tour will feature five destinations across Europe, providing young athletes with the opportunity to gain valuable racing experience, maintain motivation and continue their development outside the traditional season.
The five events are scheduled to take place in:
Valmiera, Latvia – 23 January
Erfurt, Germany – 31 January
Luxembourg – 6–7 February
Birżebbuġa, Malta – 20–21 February (date to be confirmed)
Vienna, Austria – 14 March
The initiative will bring together National Federations and Local Organising Committees to strengthen collaboration and support the next generation of European triathletes.
Europe Triathlon hopes the Winter Aquathlon Tour will become a valuable addition to the competition calendar, helping expand year-round racing opportunities and support the continued growth of the sport across Europe.
