Following the opening of the bid processes for the 2028 Europe Triathlon Championships and the 2028 Europe Triathlon Multisport Championships, Europe Triathlon is pleased to announce the launch of the bid process for the 2028 Europe Triathlon Sprint Championships and the 2028 Europe Triathlon Youth Championships.  

We invite all interested National Federations and Local Organising Committees to submit their bids. The bid process officially opens on Wednesday, 5 August 2026, and the submission deadline is 15 November 2026.

Information has been shared with National Federations and we encourage all interested organisers to present their vision for the event and explain how hosting these Championships will contribute to the long-term development of triathlon in their community.
