La ciudad de Salinas, en Ecuador, fue sede este fin de semana de una nueva edición de la Copa Panamericana de Triatlón, que reunió a destacados atletas del continente. Con un gran nivel competitivo y excelente organización, la jornada dejó como vencedores al estadounidense Luke Anthony y a la ecuatoriana Elizabeth Bravo.
En la rama masculina (Elite Men), Anthony se impuso con autoridad al cruzar la meta con un tiempo de 53 minutos y 21 segundos, llevándose la medalla de oro. El local Gabriel Terán obtuvo la plata, mientras que el mexicano Erik Yamir Croda completó el podio con el bronce.
Por el lado femenino (Elite Women), Elizabeth Bravo se quedó con la victoria ante su público tras completar la prueba en 59 minutos y 49 segundos. Las estadounidenses Michelle Magnani y Chelsea Webber se ubicaron segunda y tercera, consiguiendo las preseas de plata y bronce, respectivamente.
Más de 50 triatletas de alto nivel participaron del evento, representando a sus países en una competencia que volvió a demostrar el crecimiento y la proyección del triatlón en la región.

2025 AMERICAS TRIATHLON CUP SALINAS
The coastal city of Salinas, Ecuador, hosted a new edition of the Americas Triathlon Cup this past weekend, bringing together top athletes from across the continent. With strong performances and excellent organization, the event crowned Luke Anthony of the United States and Ecuador’s Elizabeth Bravo as the elite champions.
In the Elite Men’s race, Anthony delivered a dominant performance, claiming the gold medal with a finishing time of 53 minutes and 21 seconds. Gabriel Terán of Ecuador took silver, while Erik Yamir Croda of Mexico earned the bronze.
On the Elite Women’s side, Bravo thrilled the home crowd by winning the race in 59 minutes and 49 seconds. Americans Michelle Magnani and Chelsea Webber rounded out the podium, taking silver and bronze, respectively.
