The 53 ASTC EB meeting held 26th April 2013 at 09.00 am in the conference room of Light House Hotel, Subic Bay Freeport, Philippines. The meeting was chaired by the ASTC President Mr. Yu. He welcomed all presented EB members, thanked and congratulated Mr. Tomas Carrasco Jr; as the LOC chairman and his staffs for arranging such a place for the meeting and also for preparing the 22nd ASTC Congress and 21st ATC.

In the EB meeeting discussed about the Asian Beach Games at Phuket next year. Mr. Vijitr Sitinawain reported that OCA has approved only elite boy’s and girl’s spring event for triathlon and also the mixed relay. Also approved duathlon for Elite boys and girls, Sprint distance and relays with 3 athletes for both gender. .

TRAP president Mr. Tomas Carrasco informed that Mr. Ramon is very busy and proposed Mr. Omar Bakar to take over as ASTC Technical committee chairman; the EB approved the appointment of Mr Omar Bakar of Singapore to take over until the next congress election. So now Mr. Omar Bakar is the new chairman of ASTC Technical committee. .

There was a resolution by Chinese Taipei Triathlon Association. It was discussed and Dr. Liou the CTTA Sec. Gen. who is also an EB member was asked to bring it up in the congress. .

The agenda for the congress was checked and approved. All other meeting agenda was discussed and recorded by the Sec. Gen Datuk Balwant Singh Kler. .

Sharipdjan, Mr. Omar Bakar and  Ms. Jin Wen were present at the 53 ASTC EB meeting.
