On upcoming Friday, Nov 8th, the 27th Israeli Triathlon Championships will be held in the southern city of Eilat, on the footsteps of the magnificent red sea.
More the 1200 triathletes including children, juniors, age groups and elites will compete in the dramatic atmosphere of Eilat mountains and the big blue crystal clear Red Sea.
This year, the elite race will be particularly interesting as Ron Darmon, the senior Israeli triathlete who won the bronze medal recently in Lantau, Hong Kong at the Triathlon Asian Cup. He will be racing for the first time with the young and promising Amitay Yonah, who was seventh at the London Grand Final and Shahar Sagiv, who was 15th in London.
Weather conditions are predicted to be perfect for the race, as always in this time of year.
