On 19–21 August 2022, Krylatskoye hosted the Russian Triathlon Federation & IRONSTAR KRYLATSKOE 2022 Sports Festival and Triathlon competitions.

Over three days, athletes from 121 Russian cities took part in swimming, running, and Triathlon events, while professional races were also held as part of the First All-Russian Spartakiad for the strongest athletes in summer sports.

The festival opened on 19 August with the SWIMSTAR open-water race over one nautical mile, or 1,852 meters, in the Rowing Canal. The following day featured the Olympic-distance Triathlon, consisting of a 1.5 km swim, 40 km bike leg, and 10 km run, along with All-Russian Sprint Triathlon competitions for Iunior Athletes. The final day included children’s and women’s races, as well as the unique Super-Sprint Relay format.
