Dr. Nasser Al-Mohannadi, Head of Triathlon Development of Qatar Triathlon Federation, appreciated ITU and ASTC for providing them this opportunity to enhance the development of their Technical Officials and requested continuous support from ITU and ASTC. Also he explained to us how difficult it was to start triathlon and establish federation with a small club one year ago. But his people’s passion for triathlon lead to the fastest growing sport in Qatar. At the beginning they started with one club with a few people, now they have 6 clubs with 150 triathletes and 6 events including a National Championships. Their goal is to host an international event such as World Cup and World Triathlon Series within 5 years. He is quite certain that the seminar place import foot step for their goal.
