Born on the Norwegian island of Askoy in 1997, Casper Stornes landed his first Elite national title in 2016. Still, few could have predicted the fireworks he had in store for the first ever World Triathlon Series event in Bermuda, however, when Stornes got a grip of the tough bike course to deliver a cycling masterclass and his first WTS gold, as well as spearheading the Norwegian team’s podium sweep that year.
