Date and Time
This course will open at 8:30 AM and end at 7:00 PM .

Course objectives
The objective of course is to provide participants with the theoretical and practical training required to make them capable of officiating at National events as a TD and at Multisport Continental Championships, Continental Cups, Multisport Series Events as a TO.

Pre-requirements
1. 2 years of officiating experience
2. Community level course (5 hours) which include the general picture
3. Officiating experience in two different multisports
4. Officiating experience in all of these positions (minimum once in every position):
• Registration
• Start
• Swim
• Transition
• Bike
• Run
• Finish
• Technology or results

Evaluation
Candidates will be evaluated on class attendance and must pass an exam.

Applications
All applicants for the course must complete the attached application form and return it via their National Federations.

About the ITU Technical Officials Level 1 Education
The one day and a half course provides the participants with the theoretical and practical training required to make them capable of officiating at National Events as a Technical Delegate and at Continental events as a Technical Official.

A note on gender equity
The ITU is dedicated providing equal opportunities to both genders in all aspects. Please remember that this year ITU Development had introduced the gender quota (minimum 25% of the participants must be female) at Technical Officials Level 1 courses. If the 25% minimum is not obtained, the number of participants must be reduced until it is attended.
