2015 Amman ITU Level 1 Coaches Course
Course Language: English
Course objectives: ITU level 1 community coaches course is for entry level participants aimed at teachers, community leaders, coaches working with kids and youth in sport. It provides a broad overview of coaching, roles and responsibilities, teaching methodologies, sport-specific information and holistic topics (nutrition, sport psychology, growth and development, physical literacy).
Eligibility:
• Any individual with a desire to be a triathlon coach
• NF supported application
• Individuals who are a minimum of 18 years old
ITU Development to approve applications
Evaluation:
Candidates will be evaluated on class attendance and participation.
Candidates must pass the examination to get the ITU citification.
Applications:
This course is only open to coaches in Asia. All applicants for the course must complete the attached application form and return it through their federation via email to me at - ki.wookyong@astc.triathlon.org before 20th October, 2015
