World Triathlon

We are honoured to welcome the world’s top athletes to participate in this continental event at Ahuriri Beach in Napier, New Zealand. Hosted by friendly locals who love the sport, we know you’ll feel at home. 

Elite competitors will tackle the challenging waters of Ahuriri beach, before biking the fast, flat Napier coast, finishing triumphantly running down the blue carpet to cross the finish line. 

The Napier Triathlon Festival will also be hosting New Zealand’s Sprint Distance athletes and a range of first timers. For these athletes it is a chance to finish on the famous blue carpet and then watch the inspiring Elite athletes race on a similar course.
