ITU announces start of classification opportunities for 2018

ITU is pleased to announce the start of the 2018 paratriathlon classification opportunities for athletes. Please note that all athletes who are not on the ITU Classification Master List will need to undergo classification to be able to compete at ITU events.

First opportunity for classification will be at the St. Kilda OTU Paratriathlon Continental Championships, on January 13 2018, with more events following throughout the year.

Additional opportunities for physical impairments will be added as soon as confirmed with the LOCs. For the ATU and ASTC Continental Championships it will depend on the number of athletes entered for competition.

ITU will confirm at a later stage VI classification opportunities in Europe and North America.

Please continue checking the ITU Paratriathlon calendar, as the event calendar is subject to changes. Click here for more information on paratriathlon.
