DARE TO DREAM – the story so far

Wednesday 10 July will see the release of the fourth episode of DARE TO DREAM, World Triathlon’s first in-house documentary charting the Olympic journeys of 14 of the contenders for the individual Olympic medals on 30-31 July.

The fourth chapter of the series forms the first of three revealing, back-to-back episodes in which the athletes go deep on each of the disciplines, with Wednesday’s Inside The Swim followed by Inside The Bike on Sunday on 14 July and Inside the Run on 17 July. The final two episodes, on 21 and 24 July, will reveal the passion and determination behind the quest for Mixed Relay gold and what it will take to become the individual Olympic Champion at Paris 2024.

The series opened with Olympic Dreams, in which Flora Duffy, Kristian Blummenfelt, Alex Yee, Hayden Wilde, Taylor Knibb, Matthew Hauser, Dorian Coninx, Georgia Taylor-Brown, Vincent Luis, Gwen Jorgensen, Miguel Hidalgo and Laura Lindemann trace their careers back to where the Olympic fire was lit inside them.

From there it was onto episode two, Trusting the Process, going deeper into the psyches of Paris medal contenders, before high drama with episode three’s Make or Break: Olympic Qualification exploring recent form and the emotions of selection, starring Vincent Luis and Gwen Jorgensen and 2023’s red hot rivalry between Beth Potter and Cassandre Beaugrand.

Episode four - Inside The Swim - will air for the first time on Wednesday 10 July at 8pm CET, and unpicks the tactics and challenges of the unique Paris course with the best in the business, taking us inside the ‘washing machine’ of the swim-pack limb lashing.
