Santa Eulalia, Ibiza, offers an exceptional setting for hosting a European Triathlon Cup, combining the beauty and international appeal of the island with a proven track record of delivering high-level sporting events.

The municipality of Santa Eulalia has extensive experience in hosting international triathlon and multisport competitions, with a strong commitment from local institutions, a professional event infrastructure and a highly experienced operational team.

This experience was particularly demonstrated during the 2023 World Duathlon Championships, an event that brought together some of the best athletes in the world and placed Santa Eulalia and Ibiza at the centre of international multisport competition. The championship successfully combined sporting excellence with an outstanding venue, challenging and attractive courses, efficient logistics and a strong atmosphere throughout the event.

The experience gained from the World Duathlon Championships, together with the other national and international competitions previously held in Santa Eulalia, provides a solid foundation for organising a European Triathlon Cup to the highest international standards.

Santa Eulalia offers athletes an ideal environment: spectacular Mediterranean scenery, excellent weather conditions, high-quality accommodation, outstanding gastronomy and a destination with a strong international reputation. At the same time, its compact urban environment allows the competition to be highly visible and accessible to spectators, creating an exciting atmosphere around the race.

From an organisational perspective, the previous events have demonstrated the capacity of Santa Eulalia to manage the key requirements of an international competition, including road closures, athlete services, transition areas, course management, safety and medical services, volunteer coordination, accreditation, media operations and interaction with local authorities and residents.

Hosting the European Triathlon Cup in Ibiza – Santa Eulalia would therefore represent much more than a sporting competition. It would be an opportunity to build on the successful legacy of the 2023 World Duathlon Championships and further establish Santa Eulalia as one of Spain's leading destinations for international triathlon and multisport events.

The combination of proven organisational experience, an internationally recognised destination, outstanding sporting conditions and strong institutional support makes Santa Eulalia an ideal venue for a European Triathlon Cup and a compelling destination for athletes, teams, spectators and international audiences.
