World Triathlon

The 2018 Lima CAMTRI Sprint Triathlon Cup will take place in the municipality of Chorrillos, part of Lima’s greater metropolitan area, on a popular beach called Agua Dulce.
Chorrillos is no stranger to triathlon, and will be the official venue for the 2019 Pan American Games. This year’s event will serve as a test event, for next year’s Pan American Games. It’s important to note that while the 2019 PanAm event will be a standard distance race, this year’s Test Event will be a Sprint Distance.

The swim will take place at Agua Dulce beach in a protected bay popular in the summer months to most Limeños. The bike course is somewhat technical, with great views of the Pacific Ocean from the Malecon, and will go up to the city of Chorrillos with scenic views of the city’s coast line. The run, mostly flat will enjoy the same ocean views from the beach road (Malecon), that runs along the coast of Lima.
