Guide: How to Get from Istanbul Airport to Küçüksu Pier (Beykoz)

Follow these steps to reach Küçüksu Pier, located in Beykoz on the Asian side of Istanbul, from Istanbul Airport (IST) using public transport.

🚇 Step 1: Metro M11 from Istanbul Airport to Gayrettepe

• Inside the airport, follow signs to the M11 Metro Line.
• Take the metro towards Gayrettepe (direction: Kağıthane or Gayrettepe).
• This is a fast, direct metro line opened recently.
• Travel time: ~35 minutes

🚌 Step 2: Bus from Gayrettepe to Kavacık (Beykoz)

• At Gayrettepe Station, exit the metro and go to the IETT bus stops.
• Take one of the following buses:
  • 121A (Mecidiyeköy – Beykoz)
  • 121B (Mecidiyeköy – Tokatköy)
  • 121BS (Zincirlikuyu – Kavacık)
• Get off at Kavacık or Kavacık Mezarlık.
• Travel time: ~40–45 minutes, depending on traffic.

🧭 Step 3: Kavacık to Küçüksu Pier

You have two main options from Kavacık:

Option A: Direct IETT Bus to Küçüksu

• From Kavacık, take the 11H bus (or other options like 14M, 14R, 15F, 15TY).
• Get off at Küçüksu Kasrı – Son Durak, right next to the pier.
• Travel time: ~15 minutes

Option B: Short ride to Anadolu Hisarı, then ferry

• From Kavacık, take a local bus or dolmuş to Anadolu Hisarı pier.
• Then take a city ferry from Anadolu Hisarı to Küçüksu Pier.
• This is a scenic and relaxing alternative, but ferry times vary.

Follow these easy steps to reach Küçüksu Pier, a scenic waterfront point in Beykoz, from Sabiha Gökçen Airport using public transportation.

🚌 Step 1: Take IETT Bus E-3 to 4. Levent or 122H to Kavacık

You have two options depending on your preference:

Option A – Bus E-3 to 4. Levent (then transfer):

• From the airport IETT stop, take Bus E-3 (Sabiha Gökçen – 4.Levent).
• Get off at 4. Levent Metro Station.
• Then transfer to a bus going to Kavacık, such as 121A, 121B, or 121BS.
• This option takes longer but goes through central areas.

Option B – Bus 122H (direct to Kavacık):

• The faster and easier option: Take Bus 122H (Sabiha Gökçen – Kavacık) directly.
• No transfer needed. Get off at Kavacık stop.

🕒 Duration:

• E-3 + Transfer: ~90–100 min
• 122H Direct: ~60–70 min

🚍 Step 2: Kavacık to Küçüksu Pier

From Kavacık, take one of the following buses:

• 11H (Kavacık – Küçüksu)
• 15F, 14M, or 15TY are also alternatives passing nearby Küçüksu.

🕒 Duration: ~15–20 minutes
🎯 Get off at: Küçüksu Kasrı – Son Durak, right near the waterfront.

💳 Istanbulkart Reminder

• You need an Istanbulkart for all public transport.
• Available at kiosks or vending machines at the airport or metro stations.
• Works on buses, metro, ferries, and trams.
