The Andaman Islands are an Indian archipelago in the Bay of Bengal. These roughly 300 islands are famous for their white-sand beaches and palm lined shorelines along with one of the greatest underwater biodiversity housing corals and sea dwellers. If you are a nature’s child, the mangrove forests in the Andamans would lure you like no other place in India would have. Dense and lush, these forests can often be spotted as you take a ferry to the other islands from Port Blair. Coral reefs supporting marine life such as sharks and rays make for popular diving and snorkelling sites. Indigenous Andaman Islanders inhabit the more remote islands, many of which are off limits to visitors.

● Distance - Individual (Sprint Distance) - 750M Swim | 20km Bike | 5Km Run
● Entry fee – USD 100
● Elite Category Definition – Based on the performance and representation, ITF will categories athletes in elite and age group (senior/masters)

● Registration - All elite athletes, coaches and team officials must be registered by your National Federation through World Triathlon entry system
● Total Prize money Men & Women – USD 3000 (Top 3)
● Swim Course - Sea swim at Marina Park Beach, expected to have high tide (2m) but it won’t be choppy, max distance into the sea is 250m
● Bike Course – Beautiful 2.5kms course, with sea on one side and monumental spots (Japanese Bunker, 1943 flag point Tiranga, Science centre) on the other side of the road. Slight elevation & curvy roads with U-turns at each end of the bike course (5 Kms x 4 loops).
● Run Course –1.25km Run course is very similar to the bike course with the sea on one side (2.5 km x 2 loops)
