1. Travel
People who enter Chile must homologate the vaccines received in their countries. All foreigners should submit their vaccines certificate using this link: http://www.mevacuno.cl
This must be done well in advance, at least 20 days before entering Chile, as homologation of the vaccines takes time.
Participants must also perform a negative PCR test at least 72 hours before travel.
Once finished with this process, please contact Gustavo Svane at gerente@fechitri.cl to speed up the
validation.

For arrival into Chile please check the most up-to-date information here: http://www.c19.cl. Participants must complete the required information to enter Chile, enter the negative result of
their PCR test, provide information about the place of their quarantine (apply host hotel) and include a travel insurance.

A PCR Laboratory is at Merino Airport. Quarantine is required until the PCR test taken at the Merino Airport returns a negative result. After this procedure, you can move freely in Chile. The result is delivered between 6 and 12 hours after completion. 2. Airport Transfer
Anyone using the shuttles provided by the LOC must be informed that the use of a mask and/or face covering is mandatory. Everyone needs to disinfect their hands before entering the bus.

3. Accommodation
Use of mask and face coverings are mandatory in the hotels, keep social distancing and disinfect hands in hotel’s public places and swimming pool.

4. Testing protocol and health screening
All individuals (except for the LOC, its volunteers and contractors) applying for an accreditation to World Triathlon and Continental Triathlon events must respect the following conditions:
- Fill in the online pre-event questionnaire through the World Triathlon website.
- Perform the negative PCR test carried out upon entering the country and the vaccine validation certificate.
- Additionally, to this, all participants must submit the pre-travel medical certificate according to the requirements above.

Course aim
To provide an opportunity for suitable Technical Officials who meet the experiential requirements and who are nominated by their National Federation to achieve a Level 1 Technical Official qualification.

About the World Triathlon Technical Officials Level 1 Education
The one-day and a half course provides the participants with the theoretical and practical training required to make them capable of officiating at National Events as a Technical Delegate and at Continental events as a Technical Official.

A note on gender equity
World Triathlon is dedicated to providing equal opportunities to both genders in all aspects. Please remember that this year World Triathlon Development had introduced the gender quota (minimum 25% of the participants must be female) at Technical Officials Level 1 courses. If the 25% minimum is not obtained, the number of participants must be reduced until it is attended.
