Biography

Léon, a Swiss athlete, is currently 24 years old. He used to compete in Mountainbike (XCO) races at an ambitious level until mid-2020. However, he modified his training and ventured into Triathlon competitions for the first time in 2021, focusing on olympic and short distances. In 2022, he participated in his first-ever 70.3 Ironman competition held in Rapperswil and had the fastest bikesplit in the AG18-24 category. Moreover, he achieved a remarkable victory in the Powerman Zofingen, a Short Distance Duathlon involving a 10km run, 50km bike, and 5km run. This win has earned him a place in the Swiss duathlon national team for 2023, where he will compete in the duathlon Europeans and Worlds. Despite this, Léon’s primary objective remains the 70.3 Ironman competitions, and he aims to qualify for the 70.3 Ironman Worlds this year.
