2016 Rayong ASTC - ITU Development Team Selection Camp

The ASTC DEVELOPMENT TEAM PROJECT (ADTP) camps have been established to provide a link between existing developing nations’ junior development program and ADTP. The key deliverable of the DEVELOPMENT TEAM PROJECT is to support talented athletes emerging from existing developing nations’ junior development program or via a talent identification process.
The next ADTP camp will be held in Thailand from January 25-31, 2016. The camp will focus on technique, base preparation, & equipment selection (bike fitting & acquisition).

Entry and selection procedure
1. The following NF can enter athletes and coaches.
 Developing NFs : Chinese Taipei, Iran, Jordan, Macau, Malaysia, Mongolia, Nepal, Philippine, Singapore, Thailand, Uzbekistan
 Emerging NFs: Arab Emirate, Bangladesh, Bahrain, Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Iraq, Kirgizstan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Maldives, Myanmar, Oman, Pakistan, Palestine, Qatar, Sri Lanka, Syria
1. NF MUST submit athletes (aged 14-18 born between 2001 and 1997 ) by December 15, 2015
2. NF MUST nominate a coach to support their selected by December 15, 2015
3. NF MUST submit the following athletes’ information by December 29, 20145
A. Best 100m swim performance within the past 3 months
B. Best 400m swim performance within the past 3 months
C. Best 1500m run performance within the past 3 months

• Developing NFs : Chinese Taipei, Iran, Jordan, Macau, Malaysia, Mongolia, Nepal, Philippine, Singapore, Thailand, Uzbekistan
• Emerging NFs: Arab Emirate, Bangladesh, Bahrain, Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Iraq, Kirgizstan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Maldives, Myanmar, Oman, Pakistan, Palestine, Qatar, Sri Lanka, Syria

D. Best 3000m run performance within the past 3 months
4. Athletes will be selected and their confirmed participation by Jan 05, 2015
5. An official acceptation email will be sent to athletes, coaches, & NF on January 05, 2016
6. Athletes MUST send their training plan for the 2 weeks prior to the camp by January 10, 2016
Failure to do so will result in removing athletes from confirmed list.
7. Athletes & Coaches MUST confirm their travel arrangements by January 17, 2016
Failure to do so will result in removing athletes from confirmed list.

Number of participants
 Maximum participants: 20
 All NF can submit a maximum of 6 athletes (4 male maximum + 2 women minimum) and must submit a coach.
 Host country could submit a maximum of 10 athletes (6 male maximum + 4 women minimum) and must submit two coaches.
