World Triathlon

Shahrzad arrived as a refugee to Sweden from Iran in 1989. In March 2012, she suffered from a disease that almost killed her, and doctors had to amputate both her legs. In August 2015 she completed her first triathlon and almost a year later she is racing at the Paralympics in Rio.
